New Subaru Outback in Norwalk

The 2017 Subaru Outback is the Ultimate Lifestyle Adventure Vehicle in Norwalk

As a mere mid-cycle refresh, the new 2017 Outback brings rather subtle changes to its look. But if you've been looking to upgrade your current vehicle to better match your bold lifestyle in Stamford, there's a bit more to Subaru's newest wagon that immediately meets the eye.

The biggest reveal comes in the form of the Outback's all-new Touring trim: this luxurious addition offers a rich new exterior color, supple trim-specific leather upholstery, Touring wheels, and sleeker, tidier roof rails.

Take a close look at the new lineup--or, visit Garavel Subaru at 10 Tindall Avenue to get a personal tour of the exceptional new 2017 Outback 2.5i, 2.5i Premium, 2.5i Limited, 2.5i Touring, Outback 3.6R Limited, or 3.6R Touring. Browse models for sale below to compare vehicles.

Test Drive an Outback

Performance

2017 Subaru Outback Performance Remains Stoically Practical

Continuing its legacy among crossovers, the Outback naturally keeps its legendary Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive as standard equipment across all models. In fact, performance for the new 2017 model is just about the same as in past recent years. Under the hood nests either a standard 175-horsepower 4-cylinder SUBARU BOXER engine with a return of up to 33 mpg on the highway, or an available 256-horsepower 3.6L 6-cylinder; thanks to the high-torque Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission, this powerful engine still sees admirable fuel economy--up to 27 mpg on the highway.

With 8.7 inches of ground clearance, smart AWD outfitted as standard, and 73.3 cubic feet of total available cargo space, the 2017 Outback can still outpace its competitors over adventurous terrain.

Technology & Safety

Technology and Safety Features in the 2017 Subaru Outback

Like its performance, tech in the new model sees no massive upgrades--but it also doesn't see too much of a price hike, either.

The Outback's optional Subaru EyeSight safety system still offers features like Lane Keep Assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic pre-collision braking, sway warning, blind spot detection and rear-cross traffic alert. New for 2017, the Outback adds available Reverse Automatic Braking and High Beam Assist, to help you maneuver the roads of Norwalk and Danbury more safely than ever.

Add in standard Bluetooth audio streaming, infotainment connectivity, STARLINK technology and available navigation to the 2017 Subaru Outback's impressive list of features and options, and you've got yourself a lifestyle vehicle for just about any lifestyle.
